I'm not a healer, I am a guide.

I was talking shop this week with another remedial therapist and honestly I was really shocked by what they said.
She said;
"My philosophy as a practitioner is that I know what is best for my clients".
I strongly disagree with this.
I will resist the urge to give the lengthy rant I truly want to have.
I want to make clear MY philosophy as a practitioner.
I believe that the patient knows what is best for them.
Maybe you haven't been given the opportunity to tune in to what you need yet.
I am here to guide you.
I believe that I have skills, training, knowledge, and experience .
I am here to offer you access to those tools.
I am a guide, here to help illuminate to you, your innate understanding of what your own body needs.
I am able to support you towards recovery from physical and mental pains.
I can use my skills and techniques to nudge your own internal healing capabilities.
You might not be aware of it without my nudge, but YOU have the knowledge about what is best for you.
